Vermonters helping Vermont families cope with childhood cancer.

The Foundation continues to provide assistance to Vermont Families struggling with pediatric cancer. Upon diagnosis, we offer each family $250, to cover some of their immediate costs including food, parking and gas.  Families may then submit an application for additional funds to meet their individual needs. We have helped families pay their mortgage, rent, utilities, buy groceries, obtain childcare for siblings and fix cars so they can travel to Burlington or Boston for treatment; just to name a few. The financial needs are huge as parents often need to scale back work to be with their child, while bills simultaneously pile up.  This year the Foundation has helped the largest number of families since its formation in 2006.
